The Creation Care Team of St. Thomas the Apostle Church will be sharing the stories of people who inspire us with their projects, processes or ideas for caring for creation.

The first in the Inspiring Creation Caregivers series features St. Thomas parishioner, Amanda Kelly Engels (BSN RN RNC-MNN CLC) and the team of St. Peter’s Hospital nurses who supported her in a project to care for the community as well as the earth’s resources.

In appreciation of your service in ministry, we hope you will join us for an afternoon of learning, spiritual renewal, and sharing of ministry experiences. Topic: Grief and Bereavement in Ministry Pastoral Care Volunteers are often faced with the passing of those they serve. It is important to recognize how our volunteers can be impacted. This presentation will teach strategies to help work through grief in ministry and other areas of life, as well as assist in developing skills to combat compassion fatigue.
