Easter brings the message of hope and promise of redemption. As followers of Christ, we are called to share this message in word and act, caring for one another, justly sharing the resources of God's creation.

Earth Day

April 22 is Earth Day. Consider honoring this day with:

• a meatless meal (maybe start a new habit of a meatless entrée once or twice a week)
• a walk through your neighborhood to appreciate its beauty, pick up any trash or clutter
• learning about the work of Water with Blessings and the Navaho's lack of clean water as well as what we can do to help
• a plan for your garden
• a dinnertime discussion of reducing household waste. What can each person do? What can the family do together to become a "zero waste home"?
• a celebration of your efforts to care for the people, the flora, the fauna, the environment God has given us.
• a prayer for the strength and wisdom to be good stewards of God's Creation.
