MISSIONARY COOPERATIVE COLLECTION ~ Every year the Diocesan Propagation of the Faith Office assigns a group to each parish for a special presentation and collection for work in the missions. For NEXT WEEKEND, August 10-11, we will be hearing about the “Outreach to Haiti” program.   The program's Board of Directors Chair, James Michel, will speak about their mission in Haiti:  nutrition and feeding programs, medical care, orphanages, sponsoring children’s education, and efforts to rebuild the medical clinic in poverty-stricken Port-au Prince.  Mr. Michel, on behalf of "Outreach to Haiti," would like to express his deep gratitude to all for the prayers, kindness and support of their projects. Please be prepared for a special collection when we will “pass the basket” a second time to receive your support for this worthy cause.
