Save Water: Run the dishwasher or washing machine only when full.
Reduce/Reuse: Host a clothes swap. Exchange clothes and other items such as sports equipment. Make it a party.
Save A Tree: Cut up old towels too worn for Goodwill. Keep them handy in a little basket on your kitchen counter or drawer. They make excellent reusable cleaning wipes in your kitchen or anywhere you might have grabbed a paper towel to use in the past. You can save a tree, repurpose a product in your home and take one more small step toward zero waste.
Save Energy: Like the feel of a book in your hands rather than an electronic device? Talk to friends and start a book swap. Or start your own Little Free Library to share books with friends and neighbors.
Limit Food Waste: Plan your menu to include meals with your leftovers. Not sure what to have for dinner tonight? Check the cupboard, the refrigerator and be creative.
