Now through October 4, people around the world are celebrating the Season of Creation with acts of caring for the universe of people, flora and fauna God has given us. We are called to consider how we can live the 2021 theme: A Home For All.

Consider these opportunities:

• LESS than half of the glass you put into single stream recycling is recycled. Now you can help to increase that number. Bring clear, clean glass jars and bottles which are free of metal and caps to Honest Weight Food Co-op. Paper labels are OK. The glass will be brought to TOMRA Recycling Co.
• LEARN what your neighbors are doing to Care for Creation. Go to Capital Region Interfaith Creation Care Coalition.
• PLAN a meatless and/or locally-sourced meal this week.
• PRAY for those without food or clean water in your prayers.
• PUT a bin/basket in your bathroom for recyclables.
