INDEPENDENCE DAY ~ The Parish Office will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, in observance of the Diocesan holiday for Independence Day. There are no services scheduled in church on that day.
 
“ SPREADING THE JOY OF THE GOSPEL” -- 2018-19 BISHOP’S APPEAL ~  Our goal this year is $199,166 .To date we have received 473 gifts and pledges, a total of $192,122 toward our goal. Thank you in advance for your generous support.

MISSIONARY COOPERATIVE COLLECTION ~ Every year the Diocesan Propagation of the Faith Office assigns a group to each parish for a special presentation and collection for work in the missions. For NEXT WEEKEND, July 7-8, the Office has assigned Reverend Emmanuel Katabaazi, who will speak on behalf of the ROTA (Reaching Out 2 Africa) ministries in Africa. He is a pastor in the diocese of Masaka, UGANDA, East Africa and also Director of Catholic Health Care Systems in the diocese. He has been able to improve access to approximately 30 clinic outposts and two hospitals in the diocese.
  In collaboration with ROTA, he plans to continue to improve access to quality pharmaceuticals among the   Diocesan Health Institutions and work tirelessly to assist in the medical needs of his people.
Father Katabaazi, on behalf of ROTA, would like to express their deep gratitude to all for the prayers, kindness and support of their projects. Please be prepared for a special collection when we will “pass the basket” a second time to receive your support for this worthy cause.
