Parish Picnic This Weekend ~ Come to the Elm Avenue Park from Noon - 5 p.m. This Sunday, September 8, for a great day of PICNIC FUN.  All new parishioners are especially invited to come and meet all your new friends. Lots of raffle prizes and fun for all.
 
Virtus Training ~ All staff and volunteers of the parish who are 18 years or older must take a Virtus class in order to work/volunteer with children and vulnerable adults in any capacity in our parish.  A Virtus class that fulfills this requirement will be held here at St. Thomas on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 12:15 in the school cafeteria. Register online by going to the diocesan website,  www.rcda.org, clicking on the "Protecting Children" tab and then the Virtus Training link. You will be brought to a page that will guide you to 'Sessions and Registration.' Click on our organization, Albany, NY diocese to find this class along with MANY other upcoming sessions offered throughout the diocese and sign up for the one most convenient for you.
