March 1 is a banner day for the elimination of disposable plastic bags that have so harmed our environment. This will be an adjustment for all of us, so now is the time to collect those reusable bags, purchase some if you need them, and begin to make it a habit of putting them in your car and bringing them into the stores. If you regularly use reusable bags at grocery stores, expand your good work by using them in other stores where you shop. You can be an advocate by your example and by encouraging others who may find this difficult or unpleasant. We are all citizens of our earth.
