Stream Sampling Saturday, May 21 from 10:00 AM to noon at Hollyhock Hollow Sanctuary. Eric Lind, Director of Center Programs and Education for Audubon New York/Connecticut, will be leading a hands-on exploration and workshop about the fish and other organisms that inhabit the clear, cool, freshwater streams found at Hollyhock Hollow Sanctuary. On Sunday, May 22, the Conservancy will offer Intro to Fly Fishing, noon to 3:00 PM in the Hollyhock Hollow Sanctuary. Members of the Clearwater Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be on-site to offer hands-on casting lessons, fly tying demonstrations, raffle prizes and more. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the wild trout habitat in the Onesquethaw Creek within and beyond Hollyhock Hollow. All ages welcome.
