Stop or limit buying items in plastic clamshells.
Pack your lunch in a reusable container. (Extra "Yahoo!" for non-plastic container.)
Bring reusable take-out containers when you dine out. (Extra "Congratulations!" if you keep a non-plastic container in your car for this purpose.)
