The Four Loves by C.S. Lewis All are welcome to join us for our May book discussion. St. John tells us that “God is Love” (1 John 4:8), and this is also where C.S. Lewis begins his book The Four Loves. Very quickly, he is not satisfied with one word for love and so gives names to different types of loves. This book is based on a series of radio talks that Lewis gave in 1958.
