Enjoy the beauty of summer and learn more about the birds of creation. Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy is hosting a month-long bird-themed scavenger hunt (July 1–31) for people of all ages. There will be painted bird cutouts hidden at all 22 Conservancy preserves and on the Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail. Join in the hunt any day during July. Participants will be sent scavenger hunt clues before July 1 and each person will receive an ice cream coupon and be entered in a drawing for a birdhouse.

The Conservancy is also sponsoring a free woodcut painting workshop for people of all ages on July 9 from 1:00–2:00 PM. Participants will be able to paint a bird-themed woodcut figure. All materials will be provided. See more details and register at Event Registration on the Conservancy site.
