Next Virtus Training ~ All staff and volunteers of the parish who are 18 years or older must take a Virtus class in order to work/volunteer with children  in any capacity in our parish.  The next Virtus class that fulfills this requirement will be held here at St. Thomas on Wed., Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Register online by going to the diocesan website,  www.rcda.org, clicking on the "Protecting Children" tab and then the Virtus Training link. You will be brought to a page that will guide you to 'Sessions and Registration’. Click on our organization, Albany, NY diocese to find this class along with MANY other upcoming sessions offered throughout the diocese and sign up for the one most convenient for you.

BLESSING OF ANIMALS ~ Calling all cats, dogs, hamsters and their human companions! Come join us at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5 for the annual Blessing of the Animals. We will celebrate all living creatures in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi. This is a rain or shine event and will be held at the front entrance of the school. The fourth grade students from St. Thomas will be collecting pet supplies and refundable cans and bottles for our local animal shelters. Please come and be a part of this wonderful experience!
