LOVE THAT OLD LAMP, but it's not working…the clasp of a favorite necklace no longer closes …a dining room chair is broken?
Don't throw these items away; take them to a Repair Café. At a Repair Café, skilled "repair coaches" can help you fix your items for free. These repair coaches are community volunteers who are committed to sustainability and zero waste. They teach repair techniques as they restore your broken or damaged items.
Items in need of repair can range from wooden toys and furniture to clocks, jewelry, clothing, bicycles, small appliances and more. Most cafés request that you bring only two items per household.
